This was the beautiful sight across most of Australia this evening a beautiful Lunar Eclipse. I think you will agree it is stunning....... it happened here in Perth at 555pm.
What a beautiful Sight a blood red Moon, it is the first time it has happened here since 2000 but worth 7 years wait to see such beauty.

You were lucky - it was too cloudy to get a good look at it here in Christchurch. Certainly is beautiful.
Funny that - it wasn't visible in Perth due to the cloud.
So how did u get that shot???
Those that really saw it describe it as dark orange in colour, not red!
