How was your weekend? Good I hope, Ours was great!

On Saturday our new house guest arrived for a visit her name is Honey and she looks just like Mitzy!! OMG. The same temperament and everything! She is beautiful and is coming on Friday for a week, we cannot wait.
The family she belongs to have a real Dilemma, they are from Middlesex and have been here a year and the wife (Lorraine) wants to return to the UK, they are going back in August but the doggie needs a doggie passport that will take until Jan 2008 to clear, so they need a family to look after her from Aug to Jan but they cannot afford 27 dollars a day! so they are going to advertise at school for a family to take her....we may if she settles here think about helping, maybe.
Then Saturday night we had Friends round (YES WE HAVE SOME !!) the gent who moved us John, is a Southerner! but when he moved us we had a right laugh with him he was really nice, he called us last week asking if we wanted to go out for a drink, Explained due to child care restriction no can do, but invited them here, they arrived at 730 and stayed till 130am we had a good night...needless to say Sunday morning was a bit of a write of for me! (after not drinking for a long time drank a full bottle of red wine to myself over 6hrs) Sunday my head hurt i felt so sick and went back to bed after doing breakfast for everyone until 2pm! Then when I woke I felt great, made a lovely roast chicken dinner mmm, with a strawberry biscuit tart for dessert (as you can see from the picture yum yum yum)
Sunday afternoon was the best day I have had here yet, watching mum potter around, rick doing bits and bobs me baking in the kitchen, Ethan using the Internet and making his own email address (with my help of course) it was so lovely, really enjoyed myself. Hopefully a sign of things to come?!
Other highlights of the weekend were seeing Rels and Cameron on the web cams My mum and dad, and our dear friend Jenny xx Cant wait till you are all here, and Lesley come on get booking!!!!!

Really nice to hear things are looking up for you. Nice to meet some people going through the same thing as it really helps to ground you. Save me a piece of cake it looks great x
